Carravaggio's Dream

Ancient sisters diluting Aegean Sea
A savoury sky of million blind vultures
Nibbling silently my golden flesh
My carrion, an epitome of their sculptures
I embark, I embrace
Lair of waves of thy abyss
Pieces of her footsteps
Anticipate a noxious kiss
Enthrone serpents of Caravaggio
Grunts of sheer oblivion
I lay myself entranced
On rocks of petrified aeons
Each respire like a fair weather friend
Covers my patience with agitation
I lace my thrill with diminishing sunbeams
On primordial land of venomous gorgons
